Case study:

Business coaching uncovers the real issue, and provides the lifelong solution

A client was struggling with spending too much time and emotional energy on the wrong customers

Instead of focusing on increasing success for the easy-going clients, they were spending time on trying to satisfy those who weren't able to be satisfied.

They knew on consultation calls that they should say “no” to certain customers, but still didn’t

They had a good feel for something feeling wrong, but didn't follow through with that.

They also realised a “how we work” document would help them build boundaries

The wrong customers would say "no" to this way of working, and the right customers would also stop encroaching on their personal time.

However, they were uncomfortable with being as clear as they’d like to be in this document

Writing this document was a struggle though, but they didn't like how they sounded in it.

Email communication also felt weaker than they’d like

They still wouldn't allow themselves to be more clear and forthright, even though they know it was right to do so.

We uncovered a feeling of responsibility for others, underpinned by a lack of confidence

They were always worrying about "how others would take it" when they were clear, because they didn't feel they could be honest. Their needs didn't matter.

We developed skills to build awareness, create options and choose an appropriate path

The client learned new skills to allow them to have a more balanced view of their needs versus their customers.

They started to design outcomes that put themselves first

Sometimes it was relevant to put the customers needs first, but other times it wasn't, and they discovered the difference.

And we worked together on the confidence issues that were at the root of these challenges

They started to feel more confident when they realised that the right customers would react well, and we engaged together on other confidence building exercises.

They slowly transformed into someone who mattered most to themselves

Eventually, it became more comfortable expressing and enforcing their own boundaries, which reduced their stress and allowed them to build more success for the right customers. They had learned how to stop people pleasing.

We'll go at your speed. I'm a very understanding person, so after a short time you'll feel more confident. But if you'd prefer a gentler start to coaching, we can do that too.

All coaching is done online to keep costs accessible to all

Since lockdown, people are more used to working remotely in different ways. I can coach you from afar just as well as in person.

Pricing for one to one coaching services, and discounted packages

Single sessions for business owners and entrepreneurs are £189 - with a 15% discount in your first year of business. Single sessions for executives are £300. Discounted packages are available.

In coaching we'll discuss challenges, resistance and how to design an amazing life and business

We can talk about anything that's useful to you, but we'll focus on what's challenging and why you're resistant to certain paths. We'll also determine how you work best, and how all of this fits into the life you truly want.

We'll meet every 2 to 3 weeks, usually

I suggest we meet every 2 to 3 weeks, depending on schedules. This allows you to take actions so we can evaluate the effectiveness for you.
