Coaching finds the real issue, and provides the solution.

A client came to me distraught that he felt that his work wasn't generating the outcomes required

He had been trying to push himself harder, but it wasn't working. He was lacking personal performance and motivation, and was frustrated.

He was ending the week believing that nothing has truly moved forward

For the last year or two, he didn't feel like his work was generating more business.

In business coaching, we examined the tasks that were being completed, and those that were being avoided

Resistance to tasks is a key reason for a lack of movement and action. He had started to procrastinate.

While we were monitoring, we discovered that 70% of tasks were being spent on tasks that wasn't work for the role of CEO

He had been spending most of his time on tasks he wanted to do, rather than tasks that were needed for his goal of increasing the size and profitability of the business.

As a result, the business had stagnated, and the owner was blaming themselves, and feeling guilty

Everyone in the business was suffering because of this situation, including himself. He felt bad, which added to the difficulties.

We evaluated their role, and their procrastination, and worked out the tasks they really wanted to do, or were good at

A task audit allowed us to determine what was most appropriate for them, as a unique individual. Senior leaders may try to ignore their own feelings, but over time they will catch up. We achieve more when we listen to ourselves.

As a result, they decided that moving aside from the CEO position was most suitable for them

It took in depth discussion, plenty of active listening on my part and constructive feedback to arrive at this conclusion, but eventually he decided the business would improve if someone else was performing this key business leader role.

He recognised the impact on the entire business would be huge

This decision demonstrated effective leadership since his employees will follow his lead. Employee engagement will improve as a result.

With the CEO position taken by someone else, the owner started to enjoy their business and perform at a higher level again

This left the business owner free to enjoy the work they really wanted to do again, and increased their performance to the level they were happy with again.

What's causing this lack of performance?

Your situation will be different, but you likely will benefit from looking at patterns, rather than increasing the processes you are using

I'll support you in your journey at every step of your growth. I also include elements of life coaching, in order to ensure that your entire life is balanced.

I’ve run my own successful online small business with up to 20 employees for 22 years

I know what it’s like being a  business owner, because I’ve done it in my own non-coaching business. I’ve been effective and less effective at times too, and I see the same patterns in myself as I do in my clients.

I'm also psychology trained

I'm aware that our needs, thoughts and emotions determine whether we succeed or fail, and how we can change these to produce a more success-oriented mindset.

Some people are nervous, some aren't. Either way, I'll treat you with respect and, within that hour, you'll become comfortable. However, if you'd prefer a more gentle way to start coaching, we can do that.

All coaching is done online to keep costs accessible to all

Pricing for one to one coaching services, and discounted packages

Single sessions for business owners and entrepreneurs are £189 - with a 15% discount in your first year of business. Single sessions for executives are £300. Discounted packages are available.

We'll discuss all of the issues which are leading to your challenges

You can choose whatever we talk about, and I will be keen to explore what's happening in everything you bring up.

We'll meet every 2 to 3 weeks, usually

I suggest we meet every few weeks, depending on schedules. This allows you to take actions so we can evaluate the effectiveness for you.
