Recruitment strategy coaching

I help business owners and entrepreneurs craft a recruitment strategy to grow their team with the right employees

Why do the right employees matter?

The wrong employees cost tens of thousands of pounds in stress, training and lost business. The right employees can help your business fly.

What is a recruitment strategy?

As a business owner, one of the most effective elements of your role is finding and retaining the right staff. A recruitment strategy is the plan to make that happen.

What are the key steps toward an effective recruitment strategy

It's important to understand that a strategy is loose in nature. This ensure that you don't hold yourself to unreasonable or unachievable goals through perfectionism.

1. Define a clear outcome of successful hiring

Together, we can ask the important questions, such as what does the business look like when the right employee has been slotted into place? How has it changed? How has your role changed and how has the roles of your team changed? What values need to be protected? How would we describe that person?

2. Reverse engineer success

Let's put ourselves in that place of success and look back at some of the steps that were taken, as well as how we changed to arrive there.

3. Together, let's evaluate different strategies

There will be different ways that you could have moved forward to achieve this, so let's discover these and compare and contrast them. At this stage, we're completely avoiding the reality of your situation; we're brainstorming. You may choose to ask the team too.

4. Evaluate all strategies against reality and achievement of success

Given where we are, and reality of the current situation, what is the best recruitment strategy we can develop for today?

5. Select business strategy and communicate it to the team

To ensure that everyone is on board, the strategy and process will be clearly passed on to the team.

How does a recruitment strategy coach help?

Your patterns and habits will be leading you toward certain paths, and away from others

You may have developed some specific ways of recruiting, which are based on beliefs. For example, a common one I hear is "I don't want to bother the candidate too much". This colours the recruitment strategy, but ultimately doesn't server you or them, since you both end up with the wrong people.

There may be some ideas which you feel resistant toward, but which are incredibly effective

You may find that your business needs a greater public profile in order to attract the right people, but that might be uncomfortable for you today. We can work together on this.

I may have knowledge that is relevant for you

While I'm not a consultant or mentor, if I feel I have relevant knowledge, I'll pass this on to you, for you to make a decision on.

What they say..

“I’m doing really well. Probably the best I’ve been. I have to thank you for the tools you’ve given me to deal with issues.”

I’ve run my own successful online small business with up to 20 employees for 22 years

I’ve recruited plenty of employees in my time, and it’s not always easy. Over time, I’ve developed a strategy that was right for me and very successful in finding the right people. Together, we can do the same for you.

I'm also psychology trained

I'm aware that our needs, thoughts and emotions determine whether we succeed or fail, and how we can change these to produce a more success-oriented mindset.

What they say..

“The difference from my first session to now is life changing for me. The growth is so wonderful”.

How will we begin the coaching process?

What will happen in our Free Discovery Session?

In our first business strategy coaching session, we'll talk about the employees you have and the challenges you face with them. I'll be very curious about how you've ended up where you are. This will help me understand whether I can help.

If you're nervous, I'm incredibly kind

Some people are nervous, some aren't. Either way, I'll treat you with respect and, within that hour, you'll become comfortable. However, if you'd prefer a more gentle way to start coaching, we can do that.

All coaching is done online to keep costs accessible to all

A goal of mine is that professional coaching should be available to support as many businesses as possible, because you all deserve success.

Get FREE access to my course "17 lessons to $20million" - my own business journey

What they say..

“Before business coaching, I didn’t believe I could have what I really wanted, and I settled for second, third and fourth best. Now I’m moving forward with what I really want.”

— CHELSEA, EVENTS BUSINESS OWNER

How will we continue?

Pricing for one to one coaching services, and discounted packages

In coaching, we'll focus on designing an effective strategy that will lead you to the outcome that we've discussed and clarified

We'll ensure that all of the key personal and professional development points are discussed, as well as how the plan comes together as a project.

We'll meet every 1 to 2 weeks, usually

I suggest we meet every week or two, depending on schedules. This allows for the plans to be formulated in a reasonable amount of time.

What they say..

“In just one session, Phil took me from a place of apprehension to one of clarity and confidence. We spent time working out what things I need in order to achieve job satisfaction”.

— MARA, NEW MANAGER

If you're nervous about coaching, let's chat on email a bit first, before booking a discovery call.

Not everyone is comfortable with the idea of coaching, and, if that's you, maybe you'd like to know a bit more about the process before booking an online call.
That's OK!
Let's chat a bit on email before taking the next step. And, honestly, you'll be fine since I'm incredibly kind.
