Crafting successful strategies

How can we create plans that will succeed?

One of the most important aspects of business coaching is assisting clients in recognising that their existing strategies may not be meeting their needs and encouraging the establishment of innovative ones.

But what exactly is a strategy, and how can we tell whether it’s working?

What is your goal and vision?

You’ll never get there if you don’t know where you’re going. Although it may appear clear, most business owners and executives often overlook critical aspects of their objective.

We have a better chance of succeeding if we become laser-focused.

An example; designing a stress-reduction strategy

Let’s pretend for a second that we have an executive who is stressed, but enjoys excitement. They repeat a never-ending boom-and-bust cycle of surging forward followed by overwhelm. However, they recognise they need change.

We can brainstorm and evaluate prospective solutions and use this process to lead to the criteria required, and then experiment with one or two. This is our success-strategy.

Yoga once a week

Our initial proposal is to begin practising Yoga. This will assist the executive in remaining more composed. However, after more discussion, we discover that Yoga does not provide the mental stimulation they seek, therefore they are unlikely to continue with it in the long run.

This isn’t going to help address the problem, but we’ve learned.

Exercise, such as running

Exercise is well-known for its stress-relieving properties. It provides a wonderful opportunity to spend some time focusing on ourselves, and the human body is always eager to be put to use. While this is a more effective choice, due to child care obligations, exercise is unlikely to occur on a regular basis, but it may be achievable once or twice a week.

This has promise, but isn’t a full solution.

Mindfulness app

Mindfulness receives a lot of positive attention, and for good reason. We can get insight into ourselves and our responses to the world. It will also be simple to do on a daily basis. However, because it lacks the critical stimulation, it may not be a comprehensive answer.

This is a step in the right direction, but doesn’t solve the stimulation needs.

VR headset mindfullness app

While building on the prior idea, VR mindfulness software may take mindfulness to a more visually exciting level. This eliminates the majority of the issues so far; it’s simple to do anywhere and on a regular basis, while delivering the required excitement.

This is most likely way to solve the problem and worth experimenting with.

A successful strategy is one-of-a-kind and tailored to a given scenario rather than being generic. With honesty, are your strategies designed for success?
